Parent Bullying Event

Next Tuesday evening, November 22nd, Celina High School will play host to a parent event on bullying.  Award winning child therapist and founder of the "Bully Proofing Youth" program, Jim Bisenius will give parents tools to help their children respond to bullying.  The event will be held from 7 - 8:30 PM in the high school Lecture Hall and is specifically designed for adults (please leave children at home).  Contact Jenny Dippold, East Guidance Counselor at 419-586-8300 ext. 2506 with questions or check out the flyer for more information.

I Hate Shakespeare

The CHS Autumn Theatre fall play is this weekend.  Shows are on Friday & Saturday @ 8 PM and Sunday @ 3 PM.  Tickets are available by calling (419)586-1494 or at the door.  Join us for this comedic take on Shakespeare!

Bulldog Basketball Blowout

Come and see the Celina Boys & Girls 2011 - 2012 Basketball teams along with the Cheerleaders on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Fieldhouse for a preview scrimmage.  Admission is free -- a canned food donation can be brought for the local food pantry.  Chicken and Pork Chop dinners are on sale from any basketball player or coach.  For details and a schedule, click here.

Regional Semifinals

The girls volleyball team competed in the 6th straight Regional Semifinal contest on Thursday night.  Despite their loss, the girls have had another fantastic season that included a WBL Championship and a District Championship!  CONGRATULATIONS!

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week @ CHS was October 24-28. It is to support drug awareness within communities. The S.A.D.D. club at CHS brought about awareness through dress up days (above you will see Camo/Green Day). S.A.D.D. also sponsored a fundraiser by providing students with the chance of pieing 1 of 6 teachers in the face at the assembly on Friday; however, the teachers were in for a surprise when we pied Mrs. Black, Mr. Higgins, and Mr. Luebke.  The pie fundraiser brought in $158.55 for S.A.D.D.
